It was a wonderful trip specially eager to know the starting point of the recent flooding in kerala . Kalyanathund was a beautiful spot, infact a must visit for all traveling to Idduki. So we realized it’s not only dam but there’s a lot of natural beauty to be explored in Idduki.

I recently stayed there for two days. Rooms were very good considering the rent we paid. There is a restaurant also which provides good food.it is very near to Idukki dam. You can see the dam from the hotel. Entry to dam is possible only on weekends or holidays. Do check this before charting your programme. There is no lift. Because of the roofing it was very noicy during rain. But considering the availability and tariff one of the best buys.

The hotel is good. We took a suit room with ac which costs 4000 which is high. From the room you can see Idukki Dam. Food is good. Room size is small. The living space could have been reduced and bed area increased.

This is a very nice place to stay and it is just opposite to Idukki Arch Dam. During our breakfast, chef visited us and check the quality and get the feedback. Obviously it was amazing food with wide choice in menu. We had a great time. Wish to visit soon. Thank you.

Clean ,decent sized rooms and extremely cheap as well..good efficient service to boot...it's definitely not a resort..so don't expect too many amenities..has a decent non vegetarian restaurant on the ground floor
